We're looking for an Angle Fabricator Operator to join our Manufacturing team. You'll operate angle fabrication machinery and produce high-quality fabricated angles to drawing, specification, and "Right First Time" standards while maintaining a safe, efficient work area. Reporting to the Fabrication Team Leader, you'll be part of a team focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate angle fabrication machinery (including angle punches and section rollers)
- Read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Set up and adjust machines to achieve required dimensions and tolerances
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality; make adjustments where needed
- Carry out routine inspections and cleaning to ensure safe, reliable operation
- Record production activity, materials used, stock usage and scrap accurately
- Identify and report faults/malfunctions and liaise with maintenance when required
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to learn and operate CNC-controlled equipment
- Confident reading and working from technical drawings
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving mindset and safe working approach
