Our hotel The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
Your key responsibilities
- Cooperate well with colleagues in own team and across departments
- Tailor your approach and anticipate needs so that high quality results are achieved
- Deliver discreet, understated and timely service, going that extra mile
- Consistently match and surpass guest expectations to ensure guest loyalty
- Have a thorough knowledge of cocktails, wines & spirits
- Assist guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
- Have previous experience in a luxury service environment or in a hotel bar is preferred

This role is part-time, 32 hours per week. The successful candidate will be able to work a flexible rota, including weekend shifts, to support our business needs. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
