The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins.

Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

From weddings, dinners and cocktail parties to conferences and press junkets, you will ensure that all in-house events and meetings run seamlessly — providing an experience that goes above and beyond our guests’ high expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respect the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

  • Cooperate well with colleagues in own team and across departments
  • Ensure that all in-house events and meetings run seamlessly - from weddings, dinners, and cocktail parties to conferences and press junkets
  • Join our team of outstanding floor staff to deliver flawless service in a world-leading luxury hotel, assisting the management team in meeting the high expectations of our discerning guests
  • Be eager to learn and be a confident and adaptable individual able to thrive in a high-pressured world class environment.
  • Be exceptionally well presented and capable of making a warm first impression on our guests while delivering discrete, sensitive standards of service.
