Help Change Young Lives At Baca, we support young people who have fled war, persecution, and trafficking, providing safe housing, education, and therapeutic care to help them rebuild their lives. We are looking for an Operations Assistant to provide effective administrative and operational support across Baca. Working closely with the Operations Manager and teams across the organisation, you will help ensure that our systems, processes, resources, premises and equipment are well managed so that staff can deliver safe, effective and high-quality services to young people. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support across Bacas services and departments. Maintain effective systems, records, processes and resources to support safe and efficient service delivery. Coordinate day-to-day operational needs, including premises, supplies, equipment, utilities and procurement. Provide basic IT support, including laptop setup and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Support staff, volunteers and young people by ensuring they have the information and resources they need. Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements. Support audits, inspections, quality assurance and compliance with relevant standards, regulations and organisational policies. Identify and report operational issues and risks, contributing to continuous improvement. Work collaboratively across teams and in line with Bacas values, safeguarding requirements and policies. About You You will be a highly organised, practical and dependable individual who enjoys supporting others and getting things done. You will be confident managing routine administration while responding effectively to changing priorities and unexpected operational needs. You will have a positive, collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with colleagues, young people, suppliers and external stakeholders. You will be committed to safeguarding and to creating safe, welcoming and inclusive environments for young people who have experienced migration, trauma and displacement.
