The Senior Reporting and Data Analyst will play a central role in the analysis, scoping, and delivery support of eFront Invest–related initiatives across the group. The role focuses on defining and managing business and functional requirements, supporting solution design, tracking delivery progress, and ensuring changes are clearly understood, well governed, and aligned with business outcomes. During this fixed term contract, you will work closely with the wider Markets Technology team, Operational Support, Client Facing teams, and technical specialists to ensure requirements are clearly articulated, solutions are fit for purpose, and delivery activity is transparent and well controlled. As demand grows for scalable, automated, and well integrated solutions, the role requires strong analytical capability, structured documentation, and effective stakeholder engagement across both business and technology functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis & Scoping
    • Lead and support scoping activities for reporting, data, and platform enhancements, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, feasible, and aligned to business objectives.
    • Produce and maintain scoping and requirements documentation, including functional requirements, non‐functional requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints.
    • Support the translation of business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams, ensuring shared understanding across stakeholders.
    • Maintain requirements traceability through the delivery lifecycle, managing changes and ensuring impacts are understood and documented.
  • Delivery Tracking & Change Support
    • Track progress against agreed scope, requirements, and milestones, maintaining visibility of delivery status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
    • Support delivery teams by clarifying requirements, responding to queries, and assisting with impact assessments where changes are proposed.
    • Participate in testing and validation activities (e.g. SIT, regression testing, UAT support) to ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements.
    • Assist with issue analysis, including defect triage, root cause investigation, and validation of remediation outcomes.
  • Data & Integration Context (Analysis‐Focused)
    • Support analysis of data flows and integrations involving eFront Invest, downstream systems, and reporting outputs.
    • Maintain data mappings, lineage documentation, and interface requirements, working with technical teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Assist with impact assessments relating to changes in data structures, integrations, or reporting outputs.
  • Operational Support & Governance
    • Support operational processes by maintaining internal trackers, delivery logs, and documentation required for effective oversight and reporting.
    • Ensure documentation, approvals, and evidence are maintained in line with change management, audit, and ISAE 3402 requirements.
    • Contribute to identifying and resolving recurring issues by supporting structured analysis and preventative improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, ways of working, and delivery effectiveness, contributing to the Continual Improvement Register (CIR).
    • Collaborate closely with financial reporting, fund accounting, operational, and technology teams to streamline end‐to‐end processes.
    • Contribute to knowledge‐sharing activities, supporting consistent practices and capability development within the team.
    • Proactively escalate systemic issues and recommend practical, implementable improvements.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

Required:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, systems analysis, or delivery support role, ideally within financial services, fund administration, or financial systems.
  • Knowledge of private markets platforms is essential, preferably eFront Invest.

  • Ability to analyse complex processes, data flows, and system interactions, and communicate them clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience managing priorities, tracking progress, and supporting delivery governance.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively with Operational Support, Client‐Facing, and Technology teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models, including managing work through backlogs or DevOps boards.
  • Understanding of reporting, data, or integration concepts (e.g. structured data outputs, interfaces, downstream dependencies).
  • Familiarity with change management, audit, or control environments.
  • Solid understanding of fund structures and financial reporting concepts.
  • Awareness of different delivery methodologies, with Agile as the preferred strategic direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
