Responsibilities
- Support fundraising events by helping ensure the event runs smoothly and by cheering on fundraisers.
Experience required
- No experience is necessary to undertake this role. We are looking for people who enjoy engaging with the public, are friendly, polite and cheerful, and are able to get to and from the event location safely. The ability to volunteer as part of a team would also be beneficial.
Travel expenses
- Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. These should be discussed with your Fundraising team contact prior to outlay and must be submitted within the prescribed guidelines as detailed in the CHSS Volunteer Expenses Policy.
Support
- All volunteers are supported by their line manager, usually the Community Fundraiser. A member of the Fundraising team will contact volunteers prior to the event with a full briefing and risk assessment.

- Minimum age: 18
- In line with our commitment to safeguarding, this role is subject to a basic disclosure check. CHSS are committed to equality of opportunity, and we aim to ensure no volunteer is unfairly treated on the grounds of an offending background.
