We're hiring Support Workers

Location: Stowmarket

Hours: Full Time (39 hours)

Salary: £25,845 per annum pro rata

We are looking for experienced day and night support workers based in Stowmarket to support 3 adult males with learning disabilities, mental health needs and/or acquired brain injuries. Lone working will likely be a requirement.

The individuals we support at Takers Lane enjoy days out in the community and volunteering activities. We require experienced support workers as one of the males we support has medical needs such as a very complicated stoma. Also, being trained in epilepsy and positive behaviour/active support would be a distinct advantage! This gentleman lives in his own flat, he has paranoid schizophrenia, with a learning disability.

You would need to be fully flexible to work full time across the 7-day week for shifts including:

  • 8am-3pm
  • 3pm-10pm
  • Sleep ins
