Live Events Audio Visual Technician

• Preparing , checking equipment across all disciplines – audio, video, LED wall, lighting and rigging

• Loading and unloading of vehicles

• Delivering and Setting-up AV Equipment, Operating and helping rig Live Events

• De-rigging and checking equipment back into the warehouse

We are looking for an AV Technician to support our venues and work along side the live events team. The ideal candidates should have great technical experience with a skill base across all aspects of Audio Visual equipment. The right candidate should be ambitious and is able to use own initiative to solve problems and learn about new technology., * A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in the AV, sound and lighting industry setting up and delivering live events.

• Experience of working in a corporate environment

• Experience of working in hotels and marquees

• Excellent communication skills

• General IT knowledge (PowerPoint, Keynote, streaming and video playback would be helpful but not essential)

• A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player

• Attention to detail

• Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines

• Flexibility and a can do attitude

• Ability to work long hours on events when required

• Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly

• You must have the capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans to venues

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Standard working hours would be 08.00 till 17.00 or 09.00 till 18.00, Monday to Friday however due to the nature of the role and industry we require our team to be flexible with working hours, this includes early starts/late finishes and working weekends.

Package includes – Salary: £25,000.00 to £28,000.00 a year dependant on experience, plus overtime
