Avalon Group has an exciting new service in Heworth, York (Adult Social Care), supporting four ladies to live independent, fulfilling lives — we are looking for experienced and compassionate Waking Night Support Workers to provide safe, attentive support throughout the night. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of the people we support overnight.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide attentive overnight support and monitoring
- Respond promptly to health or wellbeing needs during the night
- Support individuals with epilepsy, diabetes and other enhanced health needs
- Maintain accurate records and handovers for the day team
- Promote dignity, reassurance and person-centred care at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous care experience required
- Experience with epilepsy, diabetes, non-verbal support or enhanced health-related support needs is highly desirable
- Compassionate, reliable and caring individuals
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
