We’re currently looking for Support Workers within Harrogate & surrounding areas to work within our Supported Living properties. Due to support needs applicants must be female (this is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010). You must hold a clean, full-UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle which can be used for work purposes.
Shift patterns are varied, with hours of work which can include weekdays, weekends, evening, and sleepover shifts. We’re therefore open to applicants requiring full-time or part-time hours. Your availability, and any pre-existing commitments you may have, will be discussed at interview stage.
Responsibilities
Our mission is to provide inclusive and personalised support. As a Support Worker, you’ll be delivering vital support, this may include helping with personal care, daily living skills, finances, and administering medication. This is a varied and meaningful role where you will be helping the people you support to live the life they choose.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous care experience, ideally with experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. Compassionate and caring individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference and delivering high-quality care. In-house training provided to ensure you have the skills to perform your role with confidence.
