This is the job

As a JLR Technical Advisor , you'll provide expert remote technical support to customers experiencing vehicle issues.

Using your diagnostic skills, you'll assess each situation and determine the most effective solution whether that's guiding the customer through a remote fix or arranging roadside assistance only when it's genuinely needed.

Every day brings something different, giving you the opportunity to solve a wide range of technical challenges while delivering an exceptional customer experience,

What will I be doing?

You'll use a variety of diagnostic tools and information, including:

• Customer-reported symptoms
• Vehicle history
• Technical bulletins
• Connected vehicle data
• Diagnostic log files

You'll also accurately record technical information across multiple systems, helping to improve future diagnostics and support business decision-making.

What do I need?

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and thrives on helping others.

You'll have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Significant hands-on experience within the motor vehicle repair industry
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently
• Good IT skills and confidence using multiple computer systems
• A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering great service
• A flexible attitude, with availability to work a rota covering Monday to Sunday between 8:00am and 7:00pm
