Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday between 08:00 and 17:30
As a Claims Fraud Investigator, you will support the Counter Fraud department in its objective of preventing and detecting Motor claims fraud. This will be achieved through the effective investigation and management of claims fraud referrals and contributing to the continued development of the Counter Fraud Team.
What will I be doing?
- Responsible for end-to-end investigation and management of claims fraud referrals to achieve a cost-efficient conclusion and minimal financial loss to the company.
- Demonstrated expertise in fraud investigation.
- Directly managing a portfolio of suspected fraudulent claims, in accordance with the claim’s philosophy, claims handling procedures and service levels.
- Assessing the evolving evidential picture of a claim to drive a proactive investigation and determine the correct outcome.
What do I need?
- Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of Motor claims fraud types and indicators.
- Thorough knowledge of insurance with a strong understanding of the principles of insurance; credit hire or personal injury experience is essential.
- Fraud investigation experience is desirable.
- An in-depth technical knowledge and the creativity to generate ideas.
- Strategic analytical skills and attention to detail.
