This is the job: As a Mobile Mechanic, you'll be the friendly face delivering first‑class service and repair work at our customers' homes or workplaces. You'll attend a mix of booked appointments and breakdowns, carrying out inspections, diagnostics, basic and full servicing, brake replacement and on‑the‑spot repairs—keeping our customers moving safely and confidently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clearly explain diagnostics and repairs so customers feel confident and informed (Communicator).
  • Work independently across multiple locations in all weather conditions (Self‑starter).
  • Diagnose and fix a wide range of vehicle issues, roadside or at appointments (Problem solver).
  • Deliver inspections, diagnostics, basic and full servicing, brake replacement and on‑the‑spot repairs.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
  • Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Work at least some shift coverage Monday to Saturday, with hours between 8am and 8pm, and optional overtime available at the end of your shift.
