Ready to join us? n #LI-EJ1 #LI-Remote n This is the job As a Major & Complex Claims Manager in our Household Claims department, you will shape the strategy and performance of our claims division. You will manage large and complex household property claims, working with the Head of Household Supply Chain and claims colleagues. This includes validating, reserving, and negotiating settlements over £100,000. n You will oversee the performance of household claims suppliers and ensure key claims performance meets business expectations. You will also identify and implement improvements to achieve cost control, process efficiency, quality, and customer service. Additionally, you will support the technical claims capability within the team. What will I be doing? n Work closely with claims colleagues to manage major and complex losses, including supply chain management. n Undertake site visits for larger or more complex claims to agree on a claims project plan with key stakeholders. n Ensure complex and large loss cases are appropriately managed. n Identify potentially fraudulent or dishonest claim-related behaviour. n Collaborate to develop technical strategies to control indemnity spend on claims. n Serve as an advocate and referral point for claim handling colleagues, especially on building claims, providing subject matter expertise. n Manage supplier account performance to ensure compliance with contractual, operational, regulatory, and business strategy requirements. n What do I need? n Proven experience in handling large and complex property claims exceeding £50,000. n Preferable field claims management experience. n In-depth knowledge of domestic building structures, their defects, appropriate repairs, and drying techniques. n Strong stakeholder management skills. n Self-starter with a track record of problem-solving and delivering value-added results. n Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail. n Additional information We’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
