This is the job: We’re investing heavily in our mobile app and are looking for a Mobile App Engagement Manager to help create meaningful, engaging experiences for millions of our AA members. You’ll sit within our Mobile App & Engagement product team, shaping how customers interact with the app through compelling content, timely communications and creative campaigns. Working closely with product, marketing and wider business teams, you’ll help grow engagement, adoption and loyalty across our digital ecosystem.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong marketing or customer engagement foundation, a creative mindset, and hands-on experience working with mobile apps.
What will I be doing?
- Develop and deliver the strategy to grow mobile app engagement, increasing both usage and adoption
- Create and optimise engaging written and video content, including in-app messaging and push notifications
- Partner with Product Owners to align content with new features, updates and releases
- Collaborate across digital, marketing and business teams to promote the app within wider campaigns
- Use data and insight to measure performance, test ideas and continuously improve engagement
- Support the development of new propositions through insight, competitor analysis and creative ideation
What do I need?
- Experience working in marketing, digital or customer engagement roles, with key experience with mobile app environments
- A naturally creative approach, with the confidence to generate ideas and experiment with new content formats
- Practical experience creating or managing digital content that drives customer action
- Comfort working with data and analytics tools to track performance and inform decisions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate at pace across teams
- An organised, proactive mindset, able to balance priorities and take ownership of delivery
