We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Consumer Finance team, partnering with our B2C Marketing & Acquisition division. You'll play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making, providing financial insight, and helping shape marketing performance across a Β£40m annual budget. Working closely with both Finance and Marketing teams, you'll help drive a deeper understanding of trading performance, marketing effectiveness, and business results supporting the delivery of key growth and EBITDA targets.
What will I be doing?
- Supporting the Acquisition Marketing team with financial analysis, reporting and budgeting across a Β£40m marketing spend
- Building strong relationships with Marketing, Digital and Finance teams to provide insight into business and campaign performance
- Producing monthly reports and performance packs, highlighting trends, variances and key commercial insights
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting for marketing spend, sales volumes and trading performance
- Analysing marketing effectiveness through metrics such as ROI, CPA and customer value to support smarter decision-making
- Monitoring and tracking marketing spend, ensuring accurate reporting and financial control throughout the month
- Contributing to weekly trading meetings by preparing KPIs, commentary and performance analysis
- Supporting month-end activities including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reviews alongside the wider Finance team
- Helping develop business cases and commercial analysis for pricing, promotions and new initiatives
- Improving financial models, reporting processes and forecasting tools to support better business performance and decision-making
What do I need?
- Graduate-level education, ideally within Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related subject
- Experience within a Finance, Accounting or Analyst role, either through work experience or a placement year
- Working towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification would be beneficial
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a commercial mindset
- Good Excel skills, with an interest in tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SQL or data visualisation
- Confidence building relationships and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity and a willingness to challenge, learn and continuously improve
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Positive, ambitious and eager to develop within a commercial finance environment
