Experteer Overview
In this role you will shape how AI is delivered at scale within The AA by building governance, rhythm and delivery discipline for the AI Centre of Excellence. You'll manage a portfolio of AI and data initiatives, coordinating priorities, risks and funding to deliver measurable business value. You'll guide initiatives from concept and experimentation through deployment and adoption, keeping stakeholders aligned and progress transparent. This is a strategic, fast-moving technology programme leadership role that balances structure with rapid innovation.

- Establish governance, rhythms, controls and delivery disciplines to scale AI adoption across the organisation
- Manage a portfolio of AI and data initiatives with clear visibility on progress, priorities, risks, dependencies, funding and value
- Lead selected AI initiatives end-to-end from assessment to deployment and benefits realisation
- Prioritise demand, unblock delivery challenges and focus investments on measurable outcomes
- Produce clear portfolio reporting and governance materials translating delivery activity into decisions and value
- Shape and embed pragmatic delivery standards, frameworks and ways of working across the AI Centre of Excellence
- Extensive technology programme delivery experience across AI, data, analytics, digital, automation or technology transformation
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and introduce structure and governance
- Strong programme-level capabilities including governance, prioritisation, RAID, dependencies, resource planning, financial oversight, reporting and benefits tracking
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and storytelling to translate complexity into priorities and outcomes
- Confident, pragmatic influencing style to drive momentum across cross-functional teams
- Delivery-focused mindset with good judgement, commercial awareness and a track record of delivering in complex tech environments
