Salary: Guaranteed minimum c. £34,987 for CE (HGV 1) license, £31,615 for C (HGV 2) license. This includes a location allowance.

On Target Earnings: £42,120 for CE, £36,600 for C license.

Shifts: Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off. Standard Shift Duration: 9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45-minute break.

Flexibility Required: While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end-of-shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.

Depot Postcode: CM1 3SR. To be eligible for this role you must live within 25 miles or 1 hour's travel from the depot.

With empathy and resilience, you’ll support members through stressful moments, using your technical expertise to recover vehicles safely and efficiently.   • Delivering exceptional service by safely recovering vehicles and reassuring customers during breakdowns, helping them get back on the road quickly.
  • Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
  • Solving problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.
  • Staying solution-focused and compliant with EU Regulations.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.
