At the AA, we've been keeping Britain moving for generations - but there's much more to us than roadside assistance. Within AA Signs, we work with businesses, housing developers and event organisers to coordinate temporary directional signage across the UK. A large part of the role involves managing customer enquiries via email, so you'll need to be confident in your written communication, highly accurate and someone who naturally pays attention to the finer details. - Managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to completion
- Responding to a high volume of email and telephone enquiries accurately and efficiently
- Creating, costing and preparing quotations for signage requests

- Ensuring customer and enquiry information is accurately recorded and kept up to date
- Following relevant local authority processes and completing signage applications
- Supporting invoicing, reconciliation, credit checks and other financial administration
- Proactively following up enquiries and identifying opportunities to retain or generate business
- Handling challenging customer situations professionally and working towards positive outcomes
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, takes pride in getting things right and is comfortable working in a busy environment.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- At least 12 months' experience within a customer service and/or administrative role
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate emails
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
- A professional, friendly and confident telephone manner
- Great organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise when managing multiple or conflicting demands
- Confidence building relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

If you're someone who loves delivering great customer service, has an eye for detail and enjoys taking ownership of a customer journey from beginning to end, we'd love to hear from you.
