Salary: ÂŁ29,350 (based on an average 40 hour working week)
Additional Location allowance: ÂŁ3598 per annum
On Target Earnings: Top performers can earn upwards of OTE ÂŁ44,000
Start Date: 27th of October 2025
Please note: Due to essential training requirements, annual leave cannot be taken between 27th October and 15th December , or during the month of March . These periods are critical to the success of the programme and ensure all trainees receive the full benefit of the training schedule.

What will I be doing?
Programme Overview:
- Duration: A comprehensive 12-month journey where you’ll dive into the latest automotive technologies with workshops led by our inhouse training experts
- Mentorship: You will be paired with a seasoned patrol expert, providing one-on-one guidance
- Real-World Experience: Gain practical on the job experience
- Certification: Earn IMI and EV certifications that will set you apart in the industry.
- End of the programme: To be a fully competent roadside AA Patrol, with potential to increase pay and benefits
- Starting and finishing work on your driveway, (paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home). * Sign on locations also available for discussion
- Each year, choose your standby hours preferences to suit your lifestyle and work life balance

What do I need?
- Some experience in vehicle maintenance and repair and customer service
- It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less, If you don’t also have category BE (towing) we’ll fund it for you.
- To be happy working shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

MOT Tester, Panel Beater, Fast Fit Mechanic, Roadside Technician e.g. Tyre, Key Assist, Apprentice – 2nd year complete (Level 2), Marine Mechanic, Railway Worker, HGV/RO Driver, Ex-Military Personnel, Agricultural Mechanic, Motorbike Mechanic, Aerospace Technician, Vintage Car Restorer
