The Austin Company of UK (Austin) has a strong pipeline of projects with multiple clients which have a large multidisciplinary engineering scope. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes and supporting utilities on a range of scales across multiple project stages including concept to detailed design.
The incumbent will have process design and operations experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences and food sectors including manufacturing processes and clean utilities. Strong experience in the design of process facilities from concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Estimating utility requirements for new manufacturing processes, designing utility generation, and distribution systems.
- Creating process designs and documents, supporting improvements, and managing process engineering work.
- Managing scope and workloads coordinating with the US team, UK team and any process engineering design partners.
- Complying with the company’s Quality Assurance procedures and assisting in improving the company’s procedures to ensure that the best service is provided on all projects to improve the company’s overall performance.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Process Engineering Design experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering required.
- Full UK driver’s license.
