Aurora Peartree is opening its doors in Autumn 2026, and we're looking for an experienced Thrive Practitioner to help make this vision a reality. This is a rare opportunity to be part of something truly transformative. Aurora Peartree will be a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious school for children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a capacity of 120 students, our vision is to create a safe, enriching and aspirational environment where every learner can thrive.

Your Role

As our Thrive Practitioner, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Thrive provision, ensuring pupils receive high-quality, developmentally informed support. You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, therapeutic colleagues and teaching staff to embed the Thrive Approach across the whole school.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering 1:1, small-group and whole-class Thrive sessions
  • Completing Thrive Online assessments and creating action plans
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and social development
  • Modelling Thrive, PACE, Emotional Coaching and restorative practices
  • Providing therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the therapeutic team
  • Coaching and guiding staff to embed Thrive-aligned practices
