About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated HLTA – THRIVE Lead to join our team at Aurora Hanley School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs, and who can champion a whole school THRIVE approach. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with senior leaders and pastoral teams to embed a nurturing, inclusive culture across the school. You'll play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting emotional development, and ensuring every student is able to engage fully in learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and promotion of the THRIVE approach across the school
- Support students' social, emotional and behavioural development through 1:1 and group interventions
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals to support student progress
- Act as a visible role model across the school, including during unstructured times such as breaks and lunchtimes
- Analyse behaviour data and use insights to inform proactive strategies and interventions
- Deliver training, coaching and support to colleagues to build understanding of THRIVE
