Weβre currently looking for a Part-time Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people, and adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
We are recruiting a Cleaner to join our team at Aurora Keyes Barn School, a \’Good\’ rated specialist provider of education and care, supporting boys aged 5 and above who face challenges related to social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Duties:
- Cleaning all surfaces, walls, internal woodwork, fixtures, and fittings
- Dusting and polishing
- Maintaining clean and sanitized kitchenette areas within classrooms
- Vacuuming and washing floors
- Keeping shower rooms and toilets clean and stocked
- Using cleaning supplies safely, reporting shortages to the admin team
- Tidying rooms, classrooms, and communal areas
- Emptying and maintaining bins, disposing of waste
- Basic record keeping as directed
- Contributing to the overall aims of the school as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
