At Aurora Cedars School, we're looking for a reliable and proactive Kitchen Assistant to support the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals for our students.

A healthy, enjoyable meal is a big part of a student's day. In this role, you'll help ensure that every meal is prepared safely, served efficiently, and enjoyed in a clean and welcoming environment - supporting the wellbeing of our students.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with preparing and serving meals to the required standards
- Support food preparation and cooking for daily lunch service
- Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and work areas
- Help with ordering, deliveries, and stock management when needed
- Follow all food safety, allergen, and health & safety regulations
- Carry out routine checks and report any issues or concerns
- Support occasional school events or special functions
You'll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

- Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willingness to complete training)
