Salary: £22,996 to £25,068 (Actual annual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hourly Rate: £12.87 to £14.03 p/hr

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant at Ryefields, you will support the educational, social, and emotional development of our students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to the needs of students.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help students engage in learning.
- Assisting with the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation using agreed strategies.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Supporting students with personal care, where necessary, in a dignified and respectful manner.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, contributing to reports and feedback for teachers and families.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children, ideally in a SEND or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
- A passion for supporting children with ASC and SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, are desirable but not essential.
