This is a remote position.

Permanent, full time role. Remote working from UK, Germany or Belgium. £70K + bonus + benefits.

This is a newly created role at an established music software company, taking ownership of the quality assurance process for one of their core products used by musicians, producers and DJs all over the world. It’s a varied position that interacts with the user community, software developers, designers and other business stakeholders, so it’s really well suited to someone from a QA background who is also a great communicator and enjoys bringing everyone in the same direction.

As The QA Coordinator You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing the public beta testing programme
  • Communicating user needs, interests and bug reports
  • Coordinating release schedules
  • Writing and maintaining test plans
  • Ensuring updates and integrations run smoothly
  • Recruiting new beta testers from the user base
  • Acting as the voice of users
  • Collaborating with Product Managers to improve workflows and QA processes
  • Suggesting improvements for QA processes and performance

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years in Software QA, with at least 1 year in a coordination or lead role
  • A strong understanding of Digital Audio Workstations and music production workflows / processes
  • Experience managing beta tests via community platforms like forums and Discord
  • Able to handle passionate user feedback with diplomacy
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies
  • Confident communicator who can translate from users to developers and vice versa
  • Jira, Redmine, or other project management tools
  • Understanding of automated testing frameworks
  • Passionate about music, ideally a hands on musician, composer, producer or DJ
