A new role for an Application Engineer specialised in audio AI and acoustic simulation to join a successful audio technology start-up. This is a great time to join the company and work alongside a super cool team of international music lovers and audio experts. As an Application Engineer, you'll be in a hands-on technical role, collaborating with internal teams to design and develop audio systems, and working closely with B2B customers to understand their requirements and deliver the best solutions across acoustic simulation, audio signal processing and audio machine learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom technical solutions for key prospects and customers across acoustic simulation, audio signal processing and audio machine learning.
- Act as a technical bridge between research, engineering and sales teams.
- Collaborate with product and R&D teams to translate customer needs into product improvements and features.
- Assess audio algorithm performance.
- Develop, validate, and benchmark acoustic simulation and audio data generation pipelines.
- Design and run experiments to evaluate accuracy, performance and scalability.
- Support customers with technical training, product demos, documentation, and best-practice guidance.
Requirements:
- Significant background in acoustics, audio simulation, audio signal processing or audio machine learning.
- Detailed understanding of audio hardware, voice and speech tech or audio AI.
- Strong technical abilities balanced with excellent people skills.
- Solid programming skills.
- Clear communicator who can explain complex technical topics.
- Comfortable collaborating with research, engineering and customer-facing teams, as well as customers and external stakeholders.
- Familiar with ML workflows, synthetic data generation, or evaluation of AI models.
