We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible candidate to join our team as a Day Porter. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting the smooth operation of the hotel across both daytime and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests and assist with enquiries and requests.
- Set up conference rooms and public areas as required.
- Assist with luggage, guest requests and general porterage duties.
- Prepare public areas and facilities to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Support other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to any issues or emergencies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
- Reliable, proactive and attentive to detail.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service in every interaction.
- GCSE Maths and English preferred.
