An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an outstanding candidate to join The Athenaeum Club, a Private Members Club, as?Hall Porter / Receptionist.

The Club offers 15 bedrooms and a variety of social spaces and a collection of exclusive dining experiences our members can enjoy with other members and their guests.

We are currently seeking a?Hall Porter / Receptionist?to join our Front Office Team. The main responsibility of the?Hall Porter / Receptionist is to ensure our Members, and their guests are provided with a proficient, professional service through meeting and exceeding the members expectations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven background within a luxury hospitality environment, ideally within a similar guest facing role or as a receptionist.

  • Professionalism.

  • Impeccable grooming standards.

  • Excellent time management skills and be able to multi-task during busy periods.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with all members of staff and management and paying close attention to detail is imperative.

  • Flexibility with shift patterns, shifts are mainly Monday to Friday although there are someweekends, nightshifts and Bank Holidays.

  • Excellent written and verbal English.

  • Working use of Front Office PMS systems and booking systems.

  • Working use of Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
