Introduction: The Athenaeum was built in 1824 by the Architect Decimus Burton. The Athenaeum is a Private Members Club in the heart of central London on the corner of Pall Mall and Waterloo Place. The Club offers 15 bedrooms and a variety of social spaces and a collection of exclusive dining experiences our Members can enjoy with other Members and their guests. ABOUT THE ROLE This is going to be a hands-on, people focused role. We are seeking an energetic and well-organized Banqueting Manager to provide our Members with a first-class banqueting experience. As the Banqueting Manager you will manage the day to day running of the Banqueting and Events department, maintaining all standards, policies & procedures relating to food and beverage service within thedepartment, with a strong emphasis on staff training and event planning. You will develop a close relationship with Members and build effective working relationships with all Club departments to ensure maximum efficiency for responding to Members requirements.
