The Opportunity
We are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to post-match analysis by identifying and coding relevant video clips, supporting match preparation through detailed opposition reports and analysis using both video and data. Your expertise will aid coaching staff in player development by coding and databasing individual player clips for presentations. The position requires travel with the team for home and away matches when necessary. You will utilize telestration tools to enhance key message delivery and compile resources into engaging, concise presentations tailored to coaching requirements. Additionally, you will set up and manage live touchline video solutions for tactical, technical, and medical reviews during matches, facilitating analysis workflows to improve performance across pre-match, half-time, and post-match sessions. Your role will also involve distributing match footage efficiently, conducting immediate post-game analysis, and supporting the creation of post-match debriefs with telestration and insights. Ensuring all resources are well databased and accessible is crucial, along with providing ad hoc support to other first-team performance staff. You will also assist the Head of Analysis and Insights in mentoring domain staff and interns, contributing to the ongoing development of our analysis department. What We Ask For
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years’ performance analysis experience within a top-tier football environment, ideally with proven expertise working with a First Team. The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge and hands-on experience using Hudl Sportscode and Studio, demonstrating a strong ability to conduct detailed opposition analysis that informs tactical decisions. Exceptional communication skills, along with outstanding time management and organizational abilities, are essential to thrive in this fast-paced role. A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards are critical. You should have a demonstrable in-depth understanding of football, including tactical concepts and current trends in the modern game. The role requires flexibility to work both home and away fixtures. You will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS through SAFC.
