Pompey Women FC is seeking a motivated, creative, and analytical First Team Performance Analyst to join our ambitious and forward-thinking environment. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality video and data-driven performance analysis to support First Team coaches and players
- Collect, manage, and analyse match and training data to identify tactical, technical, and physical trends
- Produce clear, engaging reports and visualisations to communicate insights effectively to players and staff
- Support pre-match, live, and post-match analysis processes
- Contribute to individual player development through objective performance feedback
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary performance team
- Continuously seek innovative approaches to analysis and performance support
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within an elite sport environment (football preferred)
- Strong understanding of performance analysis workflows and industry-standard tools
- Experience with data analysis, visualisation, and programming tools such as R, Python, Tableau, or Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both players and coaching staff
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for women’s sport
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-performance environments
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis, Sports Science, or a related discipline
- Coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential
