Company: The Assembly
Location: HQ Office located in Shenfield, Essex with a requirement to attend events, meetings and content creation days most weeks, plus select evening events, mainly in London. On occasion there will be travel required to other destinations, including overseas.
Department: Creative HEAD, with occasional opportunity to support the wider Assembly portfolio
Job Type: Permanent Contract. 37.5 hour p/wk.
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience

Job Summary: We’re looking for a Content Creator to join our team to support with all things digital – from filming and editing content for social media to writing copy for our website, and reporting from our own jaw-dropping events, as well as those held by our commercial partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and maintaining the content strategy and calendar, alongside a fellow content creator
- Develop rich social and digital strategies to drive the reach and engagement for the Magazine and online platform
- Management of all the social media platforms and community engagement
- Working with a fellow content creator to create original content that will perform well across social
- Attending client events/studios to create content for social media
- Interviewing hairdressers, industry professionals and brand leads for social content and web articles
- Writing and building articles for the website
- Creating content to help actively and consistently promote Creative HEAD and its brands
- Generating and cascading regular social metrics reports

- Extremely well-organised and very creative, with problem-solving abilities to develop engaging content
- Have a passion for storytelling and content creation, with exceptional writing and communication skills
- An excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube
- A confident presenter and presence on camera
- Experience with using Photoshop, Canva and WordPress
- A people person who enjoys engaging with lots of creatives
- A multitasker who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
