- Lead the five daily prayers.

- Lead the Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer, including delivery of the sermon (khutbah).

- Lead Eid prayers, and officiate Muslim funeral (Janazah) and marriage (Nikah) ceremonies.

- Assist with the religious education of both children and adults.

- Play an active role in the daily operation of the masjid, supporting its religious and community functions.

- Deliver regular Islamic reminders to the congregation and wider community.

Salary • A package of £23000 Full time (32hrs)

Educational Requirements • Degree in Islamic Studies (desirable) • Must be fluent in English • Must have relevant Islamic Studies / Teaching qualification • Must hold relevant qualification for Quran / Tajweed • A Haifz of Quran would be preferred.
