We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Tyre Fitter to join our team. This is a hands-on, mobile role where you’ll play a key part in keeping vehicles safe, roadworthy and compliant across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Repairing, replacing and fitting vehicle tyres
- Carrying out tyre diagnostics, including checks on condition, pressure and tread depth
- Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
- Inflating vehicle tyres safely and correctly
- Travelling to and from required locations to carry out works
- Ensuring the company van is kept stocked, clean and tidy at all times
- Adhering to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), including isolation procedures where required
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Safe and compliant disposal of tyres
- Previous experience in tyre fitting or a similar mechanical role (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and a safety-focused approach
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Company van provided for mobile duties
