We’re looking for a proven Decommissioning Manager to lead offshore decommissioning projects from cradle to grave—owning business development, tendering, delivery, and completion.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead offshore decommissioning contracts end‑to‑end, representing the business
- Build and deepen client relationships across oil, gas, and renewables
- Own tendering activity—pricing and coordinating submissions
- Drive delivery excellence between clients, subcontractors, site teams, and senior management
- Support commercial valuations and identify variations early
- Maintain programmes and present reports at client progress meetings
- Contribute to weekly ops meetings, chair meetings with Site Management
- Ensure contractual and legislative compliance
- Embed safe systems of work (RAMS, permitry, POWRAs, daily briefings)
- Collaborate with HSE, Environmental, Technical, Commercial and Bid teams
What experience you’ll bring:
- Strong track record in offshore decommissioning
- Credibility with clients and partners
- Experience tendering and coordinating submissions
- Familiarity with RAMS and site safety leadership
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in oil and gas decommissioning and will be responsible for running our offshore decommissioning department with the support of our wider demolition business. This exciting role is centred around our decom facility at the Port of Blyth in Northumberland, where we complete offshore dismantling and disposal contracts including subsea assets as well as topside and jacket structures.
