About the Role

As our Receptionist, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, professional, and seamless experience for colleagues, customers, and guests. This is more than a front desk role – you’ll help keep our busy head office running smoothly.

As a Receptionist at Ashcourt, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting Visitors: Welcome guests warmly, offer refreshments, and ensure a positive first impression.
  • Phone Management: Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally, taking accurate messages and transferring calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Administrative Support: Carry out general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate staff appointments, manage calendars, and book meeting rooms and resources.
  • Customer Service: Respond to enquiries efficiently and professionally, providing clear and accurate information about our services.
  • Mail & Deliveries: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the reception area tidy, organised, and well‑presented, ensuring materials such as brochures and forms are readily available.
  • Business Administration: Support other departments with administrative tasks and assist colleagues as needed.
