Salary: £22 per hour + Overtime paid at time and a half
Hours: Alternate weekly rota, Monday to Friday. Week 1: 7am - 5pm, Week 2: 8am - 6pm.
Join the Ashcourt Group as an experienced HGV Technician and become a vital part of our expanding team. Based at our state‑of‑the‑art workshop within our new head office in Pocklington, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and specialist vehicles.
Core Responsibilities:- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of HGV vehicles and trailers.
- Conduct routine servicing and comprehensive vehicle inspections.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT compliance.
- Ensure all work adheres to DVSA and manufacturer specifications.
- Work efficiently to enhance workshop productivity.
- Maintain precise records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Full UK driving licence; Class 1 or 2 licence is advantageous.
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrable experience as an HGV or commercial vehicle technician.
Exceptional diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
IRTEC Qualifications are preferred.
Overtime paid at time and a half.
28 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
