Ashcourt Group is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Class 1 Walking Floor Drivers to join our expanding fleet. If you take pride in your driving, value well-maintained vehicles, and want consistent work with excellent earning potential, this could be the role for you.

As a Walking Floor HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. You’ll be contracted to 40 hours per week, with generous overtime paid at time and a half for any hours worked beyond 45.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Operating your vehicle safely, professionally, and efficiently
  • Completing long or short-distance runs as required
  • Working with your line manager to plan routes and schedules
  • Adapting routes using traffic reports where needed
  • Carrying out thorough pre-use vehicle defect and cleanliness checks
  • Completing proof of delivery using a tablet
  • Keeping your cab clean, organised, and road-ready

What you'll need:

  • A valid Class 1 Licence
  • Tachograph and CPC qualification
  • Minimum 1 years experience driving walking floor vehicles
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Valid right to work in the UK
