Do you enjoy keeping things running smoothly while making sure sales processes move forward accurately and on time? If you’re a confident communicator, detail-focused, and keen to support a busy sales function, we’d love to hear from you. As a Sales Administrator at Ashcourt Group, you’ll be the person customers and internal teams rely on for accurate information, well-managed administration, and a professional, friendly approach. This is a hands-on role where organisation really matters—and where your attention to detail helps turn enquiries into successful outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration, including processing sales-related documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Handling customer enquiries professionally—by phone and email—ensuring queries are logged, followed up, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Managing quotations and orders by checking details, confirming information, and coordinating next steps.
- Updating internal systems with correct information, ensuring data quality and consistent reporting.
- Liaising with internal departments to keep schedules and documentation aligned, helping projects move forward without delays.
- Maintaining document control—ensuring paperwork is complete, filed correctly, and easy to retrieve when needed.
- Monitoring outstanding actions and chasing progress where appropriate, so nothing falls through the gaps.
- Supporting compliance and quality standards by following established processes and double-checking information.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous administration or sales support experience is desirable (but we’re open to strong candidates who have transferable skills).
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence with figures, documents, and records.
- Strong communication skills—you’ll be comfortable speaking with customers and supporting colleagues with clarity and tact.
- Good IT skills, particularly with office systems and data entry. (Experience with ERP is a bonus.)
- A calm, organised approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
- Professional and friendly attitude, reflecting a high standard of customer care.
Why this role could be right for you:
This isn’t just an admin position—it’s a key support role that helps keep the sales process moving and ensures customers receive accurate, timely information. You’ll work in a welcoming office environment where quality matters, and where the way you work—thorough, reliable, and proactive—can genuinely make a difference. You’ll also benefit from a company culture that values people and invests in training and development. Whether you’re building on existing sales admin experience or stepping into a role that challenges and grows your skills, you’ll have the space to learn and progress.
