As a HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you’ll play a key role in supporting our operations by operating HGV Category C sweepers safely, professionally, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV Cat C tipper vehicles in line with all HGV and traffic legislation
  • Operate the vehicle safely, professionally, and responsibly at all times
  • Assist with route planning and scheduling in collaboration with your line manager
  • Monitor traffic reports and adapt routes where necessary
  • Carry out thorough pre‑use vehicle defect and cleanliness checks
  • Ensure the vehicle cab is kept clean, tidy, and presentable
What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid HGV Category C licence
  • A valid Tachograph card
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Tipper driver
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • The right to work in the UK
