The predicted salary is between 28000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our 8 Wheel Tipper fleet! As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime for this role is paid at a rate of £20.25 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.

Key responsibilities:

  • To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
  • To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
  • To drive long or short distances as required
  • To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
  • To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
  • To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
  • To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
  • To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition

As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will have:

  • A valid HGV Cat C license
  • Tachograph card
  • CPC Qualification
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Tipper driver
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence
  • Valid right to work in the UK
