Ready to take the wheel of your next role? Ashcourt Group is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced Skip/RORO Drivers to join our growing fleet based in Hull. If you’re looking for a role that keeps you moving and a company that genuinely looks after its drivers, this could be the perfect route forward.
As a HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you’ll play a key role in supporting our operations by operating HGV Category C sweepers safely, professionally, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operate HGV Cat C vehicles in line with all HGV and traffic legislation
- Operate the vehicle safely, professionally, and responsibly at all times
- Assist with route planning and scheduling in collaboration with your line manager
- Monitor traffic reports and adapt routes where necessary
- Carry out thorough pre‑use vehicle defect and cleanliness checks
- Ensure the vehicle cab is kept clean, tidy, and presentable
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid HGV Category C licence
- A valid Tachograph card
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a RORO Driver
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- The right to work in the UK
