Location: Newton Aycliffe (DL5 6NB) or Teesport (TS6 7RT)
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee operations of our concrete plants. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organise, direct, and manage daily operations of the concrete plant
- Maintain and update all plant records and inspection logs
- Oversee production output, product quality, housekeeping, and timely delivery
- Ensure appropriate PPE is issued and used to maintain a safe working environment
- Liaise with the Operations Manager to resolve defects promptly
- Keep the plant clean, tidy, and well-maintained
- Issue detergents and concrete cleaning products in line with COSHH assessments
- Monitor feed stock levels and arrange timely replenishment of materials
- Implement and enforce the Lockout Tagout and Tryout (LOTOTO) procedure
- Ensure all concrete mixes meet the specifications provided
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IOSH Working Safely certification
- Previous relevant industry experience
- Experience in managing people
