The Ascott Limited UK Corporate Office is seeking a qualified, experienced and capable Procurement Manager to become part of our Procurement team, supporting our hotels and serviced residences across Europe. Reporting to the Procurement Director, Europe, you will be responsible for executing the purchase of goods and services to ensure that the Group's European lodging sites operate effectively and efficiently. You will ensure competitive pricing, required quality standards, reliable delivery and continuity of supply across all purchasing activities.

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting European properties operations through accurate and timely execution of purchasing activities, ensuring goods and services are available at the right cost, quality and delivery standards.
  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to drive measurable cost savings, commercial performance and long-term value creation aligned to business priorities.
  • Leading operational tendering activities (RFQs/RFPs), evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate commercial terms, pricing agreements and long-term contracts to secure value and mitigate risk.
  • Managing and optimising supplier relationships, including approved supplier lists, KPI performance reviews, service improvements and issue resolution to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Analysing purchasing data, market trends and supplier performance to identify cost efficiencies, manage risk and drive continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing purchase order processes, inventory planning, lead times and delivery performance to maintain operational efficiency and minimise disruption.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Procurement standards, sustainability commitments, company policies and financial controls, maintaining accurate records and supporting audit and integration activities.

To be successful in the role of Procurement Manager, we require:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration and/or Finance).
  • Minimum 5-10 years proven end to end purchasing experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, with demonstrated expertise in negotiations, supplier management and value delivery (Hospitality sector experience is a strong advantage).
  • Full professional fluency (native or equivalent) in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Previous ERP experience (Oracle Fusion advantageous).
  • Certification from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) an advantage.
  • Experience supporting integration activities and change management initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resourceful, hands-on approach with the ability to prioritise effectively and perform under changing circumstances and tight timelines.
