The role
We are looking for a Front-End, User Experience Engineer specialising in UI / UX. This is a key role in which you will provide the link between our design and engineering teams. As an engineer you will support the development of front ends within our single page applications. As a designer you will develop prototypes, wireframes and design mock-ups. You will work as part of a team tasked with the development of new software products for the education market. Coupled with developing new products, you will also be expected to support and maintain existing products. This role offers a successful candidate the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking, and fast-changing company with software that could make a real difference to people with learning difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To develop new software products.
- To support and maintain existing products.
- To contribute to the design and functionality of the software, testing and supporting new features.
- To help composing software packages ready for market.
About you
You will be an engineer with a strong focus on front end design. You will be an expert in the use of wireframing and prototyping software such as Figma. If you are a front-end engineer with exceptional CSS styling skills, enjoy designing quality user experience and are proficient in wireframing and prototyping we would like to hear from you. The role will require you to have skills in the programming languages used for developing web-based applications such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS. Experience of the Angular platform for building web applications would be a real advantage and will set you apart!
