Responsibilities

The main duties include greeting staff and visitors; assisting staff with arrangements for meetings; raising purchase orders; keeping accurate and up-to-date records; maintaining supplies of stationery and office refreshments; dealing with mail; monitoring cleaning standards; recording planned and reactive maintenance; reporting maintenance issues; contributing to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for staff and visitors and communicating effectively at all levels both face to face and by email.

Availability

Timekeeping and reliability are key. The role requires working seven hours a day at the office. Occasional out-of-usual hours may be required to allow work or maintenance to proceed, with prior notice.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Reliable, approachable and helpful.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and operate and communicate effectively within a small team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety in a working environment is desirable; relevant training will be provided.
