The Arts Club, London is seeking an exceptional leader to help shape the next chapter of its story. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director - Marketing & Communications, Cultural Programming and Membership will lead an integrated strategy across brand, marketing, communications, content, cultural programming, membership and hospitality marketing.

This role encompasses all aspects of brand positioning, member engagement, cultural programming, luxury hospitality marketing and commercial storytelling across the Club's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Leadership: Act as the guardian of The Arts Club brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints. Develop compelling storytelling that celebrates the Club's heritage while ensuring continued relevance.
  • Marketing & Communications: Lead an integrated marketing and communications strategy across membership, hospitality, cultural programming and commercial activities. Shape the Club's tone of voice and external profile.
  • Membership: Partner with the Membership team to drive acquisition, retention and engagement strategies. Create compelling membership journeys and ensure communications reflect the Club's standards of excellence.
  • Cultural Programming: Provide strategic oversight for the Club's cultural programme. Foster relationships with leading artists and develop experiences that offer members unique access to influential voices.
  • Hospitality, Rooms & Suites: Lead marketing strategies for the Club's hospitality offering. Develop positioning and storytelling that differentiates the Club's accommodation within the luxury market.
  • Commercial Performance: Use insight and performance data to identify opportunities for growth. Develop strategies that contribute directly to revenue generation across various streams.
  • Leadership: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across marketing, communications, membership engagement and cultural programming. Champion collaboration across departments.

You are a strategic, commercially minded leader with a proven track record in luxury environments. You will bring significant senior leadership experience, a strong appreciation for heritage and creativity, and exceptional communication skills.
