Founded for its history within the Arts and reputation for delivering exquisite hospitality, this exclusive Private Members Club is now seeking an exceptional Members Lounge Assistant Manager to work within our Food and Beverage Service Team. The Members Lounge is set across one floor within the Club and provides outstanding service to our members within a slightly more relaxed and casual setting. The team is encouraged to build relationships with members and we are very proud that many consider the Members Lounge a home from home.
Our new Assistant Manager must have a positive and engaging personality and be as adaptable as our floor is diverse! The Members’ Lounge is not only a restaurant, but also an events venue, private dining rooms, meetings space, relaxing lounge and late night cocktail bar. It also exhibits permanent and temporary art collections alongside showcasing the most current musicians and DJs enabling their sound to create the best London social setting around Mayfair.
Assistant Manager responsibilities:- Provide a personable and memorable experience for our Members on arrival and throughout their stay within this exclusive setting.
- Plan and maintain high levels of food and beverage standards, assist servers and hosts on the floor during peak periods and supervise the Lounge and Events Dining Space.
- Complete opening and closing duties to ensure compliance and quality assurance of standards are maintained.
- Lead and nurture a dedicated team of food and beverage team members whilst delivering a first class service culture.
- Assist the General Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating.
- Liaise and support our food and beverage restaurants and Club operations to maximise efficiency of resources during the day and evening.
- Anticipate floor service needs and provide a personalised approach to resolve any Member requests.
- Solve any issues/problems quickly and calmly using logic and initiative.
- Demonstrate a passion for quality of service and engage with Reception and Guest Relations to ensure all enquiries are managed promptly.
- Escort our Members and their guests during private events, provide detailed information about current exhibitions in the Members Lounge and forthcoming events throughout the Club.
- We are looking for an outgoing individual with great personality and charisma, passionate about managing and delivering a first class service within an upscale operation.
